Beginning Lampworking
A 6 hour class for 3 students.
We will spend the first hour or so discussing safety, studio set up and a little lampworking history. We will discuss types of glass and their coeficients (COE)
Then we will learn the ins and outs of melting glass. We will work on shaping, stringer techniques, twisties and a number of other fun things to do with glass.
